As a kick start for my day, I watched this youtube video of Cindy Flores. Her suggested recipes are lovely. I am super inspired to try them out.


 One day at a time. One day at a time girl! You will get there. Slowly but surely.
Chalking it as part of my TO DO for this coming days.
Now, let me just log my food diary.
Done!
Good news! My calorie count is a very GOOD 940.
I made sure I was done with dinner prior to 6pm yesterday. I was able to cut into half my food portions.
Pat on the back now!
The rest of the goals for the day:
Dance exercise for 15 minutes
50 stomach crunches
50 leg raises
Drink more water
Use the PAUSE button
Breathing 1-10 when the situation gets overwhelming
Write that letter NOT TO BE SENT if I need to!

I just recorded my calorie count and food portions. The bad news: 2125 calories. The good news: I did at least 15 minutes of dancing.

I will just remind myself that  : small steps equal big results, progress and not perfection is my steady goal.

This morning before I stood up, I did 20-25 leg raises on each leg.  It got the blood going in my system.

Listening to this again:


Slowly reduce and remove white rice from my diet.
More water each day.
Load up in fruits and veggies  and nuts and whole grains.
Fast from social media.
Daily food diary.
Dance exercise at 8am tomorrow and every other day. Skipping one day in between.

I just finished reading the  Dr. Josh Axe’s website. There are some recipe’s I would like to try out in Jesus mighty name, I claim like the minestrome soup and the stir fry veggies.

I attempted to review and remember the things I ate yesterday. Being a very busy day, all I can remember is having a hearty almost midnight snack last night…the same with Thursday evening. Bottom line, right after recording my Dec.12 food diary prior to dinner…all hell broke lose again.

Tonight, I logged in my food diary. I hesitated to check for the calorie consumptions and portions.

Will I succumbed to laziness and procrastination again?

I decide to do it. Here goes.

10am Tim Horton’s Caramel Coffee ( Medium)  110 calories
2 chocolate glazed tidbits ( donut holes)              140
Beef steak in creamy mushroom sauce                 470 ( approx)
Salmon fillet with beans + button potatoes          520 calories
2 swedish meatballs                                                    76
Petra’s BBQ chicken                                                  226
Petra’s Koshari                                                           270 calories
Grand total                                                               1812

Indeed, a record of over indulgence once again.

How do I end this note?

My plan for tomorrow:

1.       Spiritual Triathlon 3x/day.Praise and worship 5 minutes, Bible reading for 5 minutes, Prayer for 5 minutes
2.       50% veggies and fruits, grains for 10-21 days. + 1 cup of rice 3x/day
3.       Yogurt/Yakult
4.       Exercise 10-30 minutes dancing at 9am

I missed two days of logging my food diary.
I just finished recording my food intake for today. No dinner yet and I am already hitting 2400 calories approx.
Do I give up again?

Identify your fitness personality. Are you a solo exerciser?

Or are you a little of both?

Be intentional. Schedule your exercise each day like any other appointment.

Get a buddy to encourage you in your fitness goals.

Last night,the girls and Ruel went to City Centre to check out their month long sale. They came home with a box of Pizza hut supreme pizza.

 two slices  Pizza hut supreme     660 calories
1 cup of boiled rice                        200 calories
Beef soup                                        225 calories
Total                                              1085 calories

This morning these are what I ate for breakfast:

3 slices of toasted white bread                120x 3 =   360 calories
3 teaspoons of Cheeze spread                 15 x 3  =     45   calories
Scrambles eggs                                        91x6   =    546 calories

For lunch:
3 cups of boiled rice                                                 600 calories
Beef soup with leafy veggies + potatoes                  450

For dinner:
½ hotdog bun tuna sandwich                                  476 calories
1 glass artificial mango juice                                 100 calories
250 ml Starbucks Frap                                           271 calories
Lemon square cheesecake                                     110 calories

Grand Total for today:                                          2,958 calories

Tomorrow is another day….

I woke up this morning feeling so sluggish.

The culprit, our late night snacks after watching Frozen 2 in the nearby Mirqab Mall.

We had the following after munching snacks in the  Flik Cinema:



1 round Siopao Pandesal                 200 calories
2 cups of toasted white peanuts    600 calories
McDonalds Hot Fudge Sundae       200 calories
McDonalds Cheesy Fries                 600 calories
Kiwi fruits + Red Plum                     200  calories

A whopping  1800 Calories.

Hmmmm ….

Tsk Tsk!

Admittedly, I am in the tail end of a challenging blue depression. I will slay this soon in Jesus mighty name.

Another thing I need to incorporate into my current diet plan is to put my food diary in a nice clean table form. Soon!

For lunch, here is what I ate:

2 cups of  lugaw or chicken porridge ( leftover)   125 x 3 = 375 Calories

God’s Food plan is all about abundance and not about DEPRIVATION.

40 Days with the Daniel Diet Plan DAY #1

Hello!

Since, my wordpress site is having some issues, I will post my FIT AND FAB blog here for the meantime.

Here goes:

The girls are singing “ Send me your location!” as they are clearing the table.  Ruel is resting by the long sofa while browsing through my CP.

We just had a sumptuous lunch of Petra  bbq chicken, Koshari.



This was right after our heavy/ late breakfast of  lugaw ( Chicken porridge) with lots of chicken liver.

The plan for the day has been settled.

The little one just had another nosebleed, thus, we shall have to forgo the 3pm mass. Although, winter is upon us, the mid day sun can still be harsh.

Now, the girls are  arguing about who goes to the bathroom first.

It is almost a full blown altercation now and meltdown.

Anyway, here is what I ate today so far:

Breakfast at 10:30am    2 pieces liver ( 4 matchbox sizes)( 100 calories.) in 1.5 bowls of porridge yellowed in turmeric power (200 calories). 1.5 boiled egg.(155 calories)  Leftover Pampanga’s chicken tocino ( of last night)  1 matchbox size (100 calories)  TOTAL: 555

Lunch 12:00 noon .   Chicken BBQ  5 matchbox sizes ( 300 calories), 3 cups of Koshari ( 300 calories). 15 ml of Coke. ( 15 calories)   TOTAL: 615

Grand Total of  1170

Here are the things I should be watching out for in my food diary: portions and calorie count.

I should not go over 1300 calories per day.

I should have at least 10-15 minutes of  Cardio.

Tonight, I have to control my intake.

So help me God almighty regain my fit and fab body back as a way to glorify the Holy Spirit residing in me with the Daniel Diet Plan.
