Forty Day Daniel Diet Plan December 16 2019

Forty Days with the Daniel Diet Plan
11:54am

I just recorded my calorie count and food portions. The bad news: 2125 calories. The good news: I did at least 15 minutes of dancing.

I will just remind myself that  : small steps equal big results, progress and not perfection is my steady goal.

This morning before I stood up, I did 20-25 leg raises on each leg.  It got the blood going in my system.

Listening to this again:

Slowly reduce and remove white rice from my diet.
More water each day.
Load up in fruits and veggies  and nuts and whole grains.
Fast from social media.
Daily food diary.
Dance exercise at 8am tomorrow and every other day. Skipping one day in between.

I just finished reading the  Dr. Josh Axe’s website. There are some recipe’s I would like to try out in Jesus mighty name, I claim like the minestrome soup and the stir fry veggies.

40 Days with the Daniel Diet Plan

40 DAYS WITH THE DANIEL DIET PLAN
December 9,2019
9:10am

FOCUS on renewing one’s mind.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cOsIy_kRBrk

How to overcome stress, negative thought patterns and  setbacks to stay on tract.

Dr. Daniel Amen says:

“Lifestyle choices we make, has a huge impact on brain health.”

Better brains for better lives.

Faith, why do you care?

Food, fitness makes sense.

Focus is about brain health and getting our thoughts right.

3 key areas to maximize brain health:

Care, stop, do.

Brain envy. It is a 3 pound gorilla between our ears that determine a lot of our personality, judgements, decisions etc.
You had a brain injury, you are depressed, you are not eating right. People tend to become sadder, sicker  and poorer.
We should start to care for our brain…that is why it is called BRAIN ENVY.
What should we stop doing?
Drugs and alcohol are damaging for the brain.
It does not take rocket science to know that.
Sleep apnea.
Untreated depression.
Inflammation due to omega 6 food like corn, soy and sugar etc.
KNOW BETTER,DO BETTER.
Food can be medicine or food can be poison.
Eat right to think right.
Gratitude brings your focus on the right things.
Writing down 3 things you are grateful for everyday, increases our sense of happiness.
You are not stuck with the brain you have, you can make it better.
LIFESTYLE and SUPPLEMENTAL intervention.
51% of all Americans will have a challenge with psychiatric disorder sometime within their lifetime.
First do no harm.
Birth control pills drops your Seratonin levels in your body.
Seratonin is the don’t worry, be happy, feel good chemical/ hormone in our bodies.

Day #2 with the Daniel Diet Plan

December 7,2019
Day 2
40 Days with the Daniel Diet Plan
6:49pm

I woke up this morning feeling so sluggish.

The culprit, our late night snacks after watching Frozen 2 in the nearby Mirqab Mall.

We had the following after munching snacks in the  Flik Cinema:

1 round Siopao Pandesal                 200 calories
2 cups of toasted white peanuts    600 calories
McDonalds Hot Fudge Sundae       200 calories
McDonalds Cheesy Fries                 600 calories
Kiwi fruits + Red Plum                     200  calories

A whopping  1800 Calories.

Hmmmm ….

Tsk Tsk!

Admittedly, I am in the tail end of a challenging blue depression. I will slay this soon in Jesus mighty name.

Another thing I need to incorporate into my current diet plan is to put my food diary in a nice clean table form. Soon!

For lunch, here is what I ate:

2 cups of  lugaw or chicken porridge ( leftover)   125 x 3 = 375 Calories
2-3 slices of beef in soup                                                            227 Calories ( approx) https://mobile.fatsecret.com/calories-nutrition/generic/vegetable-beef-soup-home-recipe

Now for my daily dose of free inspiration. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CtjNMnB5wWw

Notes taken from it:

Romans chapter 8.

1 Corinthians 6:12 “ I have the right to do anything.” You say- but not everything is beneficial. “ I have the right to do anything” – but I will not be mastered by anything.

1 Corinthians 6:13 “ You say, “ Food for the stomach and stomach for the food, and God will destroy them both.”

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 “ Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you whom you have received from God? You are not your own, you were bought at a price…”

Psalm 127:2 It is senseless for you to work so hard from early morning until late at night, fearing you will starve to death, for God wants his loved ones to get their proper rest.

Proverbs 25 Eating too much honey is not good

Ephesians 5:18 Do not get drunk with wine, because that will ruin your life.

1 Corinthians 10:31  So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.

Hipocrates: Let thy food be thy medicine.

Pastor Rick Warren’s prayer:

“ Father, You created our bodies. You sent Jesus to pay for our bodies. Then you sent the Holy Spirit, to live in our bodies. Help us to never forget that our bodies belong to you and not us. Forgive us for the many times we misused, abused our bodies and our health. Today, we commit together, join in a journey of health. To follow Your health plan for Your greater glory. I pray this in Jesus name, Amen.

God’s Food plan is all about abundance and not about DEPRIVATION.
