Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love.
Lead: Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created.
Response: And you shall renew the face of the earth.
Let us pray. O God, who by the light of the Holy Spirit, did instruct the hearts of the faithful, grant us in the same Spirit to be truly wise and ever to rejoice in His consolation. Through Christ our Lord. Amen

October is almost at it's tail end.
I woke up to find out Mari had already left and 360 tells me she has been at her place of work for more almost an hour already.
I want Ruel to walk her to the bus stop since we are in the season of longer nights.
My brave first born.
She carried two heavy pumpkins for me from work.
Her good friend Jo was offering to pick her up but it seems they had some last minute changes.
Finally, I was able to carve my first ever pumpkin.
Through the years, I have allowed the girls and their dad to do it.
I thought it would cost me two hours.
I did it under one hour. Simple cat design.
I will leave the bigger pumpkin for them to work on.
My goodness, I am still adjusting and rejecting this idea that the girls and I barely see each other during the week.
I come home past midnight and they leave early in the morning and
I am still deep in slumber.
Looking forward to the weekend with them I claim in Jesus most mighty name.

Today's first reading reminds us to put on the armor of God...since we do not deal only with physical enemies but of powers and principalities in spirit.
I continue to pray and ask for the cover of Our Lord Jesus Christ, by His most precious Blood to shield us all who choose to remain in His Light as His children.
