December 2,2025

 12;09AM CT

Come Oh Holy Spirit, please fill the hearts of Thy faithful, please enkindle in us the fire of Your Divine love, send forth Your Spirit Oh Lord, and it shall be created, and You Oh Lord, shall renew the face of the earth.

Technical note to self: Sync the time in my BLOG to Central. If I am not mistaken, it is still in Doha time.

Let us see, it is Dec 2,2025 at 12:13 am Central time.

When I publish this, what time would it show?

Cause last night, when I published my blog, it showed the following day's date already.

Today is a BEST DAY ever.

Thank you Lord Jesus.

Despite the super pain in my lower back and right knee, I was able to accomplish some important tasks.

I was able to put back some semblance of order in our living room.

It is almost a week now that we emptied our basements of everything except a handful of items.

The garage and the living area was the designated temporary dumping site.

I say dump, because, I was able to throw 5 large trash bags, and there is still more.

Papers that needs to be let go.

Things I am still holding on to.

I was happy for my accomplishment since I was able to  listen to Christopher West and Fr. Timothy Galllagher SJ talk about 14 Steps of making a proper discernment.

Today's layman reflection  in Kerygma by Mia Bueno, shares with us her son's Best Day Ever attitude to each and everyday.

Her little boy finds something to be grateful for.

Something, I have relegated to Thanksgiving.

So, let me get back to it now...

Thank you Lord Jesus for the following:

1. Movie time with Ruel, watching InterStellar for the Dandelion Book Club review tomorrow. We enjoyed it contrary to what I thought, I'd be bored to death. I gave it 5 stars.

2. Good food and company for dinner.

3. The energy to prepare Burrito meal despite the pain,

4. Support from KJ.

5. The snow capped roof tops.

6. The smoking chimneys in the neighborhood. Wonderful sight, just like the glistening snow at night, like sparkling jewels.

7. The chance to get out of my self absorbed, selfish decisions, in favor of service.

8. Schedule for tomorrow. Thank God, I was able to get through. It was tough last week to get a booking online. I was able to do it! Minor Injury Clinic, here we come!

9. The message of William Lane  Craig and John Lennox.

10. Sharing a Tuxedo cake with Jo, Mari and Lilli after they came in from the snow and temperature of below 12* one after the other.

Reflection questions:

What is your default day? Is it always your best day ever or worst day ever?

Lord, please bless my eyes to see You in every person and in every situation. Amen.

What have you learned about the Father as revealed by Jesus in the Scriptures?

Who is God for you? How does He manifest in your day-to-day experiences?

God is my mighty creator. He is my heavenly Father. He and His Son is my Lord and Savior, His Holy Spirit is my guide and counselor.

I am never going to feel orphaned or alone, He is always with me.

He allows me to go through a spiritual dryness for a reason...and one of which I believe is to continue TRUSTING HIM no matter what.

Today's gospel reading is reminding me that God the Father and God the Son are one.

He loves me so much.

I am so blessed so I can be a blessing to others.

Thank you Lord Jesus Thank You.

Alleluia Alleluia!!!
