BEING IGNORED, REJECTED AND MARGINALIZED

Come Oh Holy Spirit, please fill the hearts of thy faithful, please enkindle in us the fire of thy Divine Love, send forth your Spirit Lord and it shall be created and You Oh Lord shall renew the face of the earth.

The Kill Switch has been activated.

Cars of old, have this Kill Switch somewhere.

Not so sure of the modern ones available now.

A brief inquiry from google tells me that is something that can be installed easily to cut the flow of fuel as a car theft prevention.

Well, my psycho-emotional Kill Switch has been touched and I am trying to combat the blues.

The feeling of being REJECTED is quite bitter to swallow.

Today's gospel reading of Jesus being moved with pity and compassion for the grieving widow gives me much consolation.

I find my refuge and renewal in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ today and always.

This people may not see my value so I give myself the gift of COMPASSION as well.

As I lick my wounds, I claim my healing and release from them.

I give them the gift of my ABSENCE in return.

I of course am challenged to pray for them and forgive them.

I plead the blood of Jesus on this situation and  pray for healing all around.

Jesus, may you please bless them more today and always. May all their needs be provided for, now and always,

May their heart's desire be provided for always and forever.

Thank you Lord Jesus for giving me this grace.

Questions to ponder on today:

Do you trust the Lord that He will always work for your good?

How do you handle acclaim and praise from others?

What do you do to remain humble in the midst of these?

How do you deal with the sense of being ignored, of being a nobody?

Prayer:

My Lord Jesus, allow me to find comfort in Your mercy and assurance of being somebody in Your eyes every time I feel ignored, marginalized, and unnoticed. Amen.

M 25:23

Come Oh Holy Spirit, please fill the hearts of thy faithful, enkindle in us the fire of Your Divine love, send forth your Spirit, and it shall be created, and you shall renew the face of the earth.

God the Father, God the Holy  Spirit, God the Son, Jesus Christ...create in us, redeem us and sanctify us in the mission you have for us.

Mama Mary, pray for us.

St. Joseph, pray for us.

St. Michael the Archangel, protect us

Words have power and words have consequences.

I have been wanting to do my gospel reflection for today since 530 this morning.

There were a lot of other things that called for my time and attention.

2nd born needed help in an  art work she has to do for next weekend's camp before she is picked up for a whole day activity in her  MFC youth group.

1st born had to go to her place of work to get some cardboard boxes...

After several days of sunny warm weather,  it is a bit extra cool this morning.

I have been admiring the  falling leaves  in my front neighbor's yard.

Beautiful yellowed leaves...

Fall indeed is here.

Last night, thanks to my hubby's back massage, my back feels very good this morning. I could barely move last night without complaining.

I praise and thank God for this morning and all other mornings He has generously showered on us.

Lord, thank you.

Thank you also for helping me overcome the evil that is trying to scare me and rob me of the Joy  I have in you.

The bullet that cut short a young man's life last September 10,2025 in Utah will not silence the work You Oh Lord have started...and that is for man to go back to You and respect precepts You have prepared for us...to have the authentic freedom from sin and slavery that awaits us on the other side of error and perversions.

My  reflections on today's Kerygma daily gospel readings:

https://kerygmafamily.com/modules/dailyreadings/read.php?date=2025-09-13

How do you deal with your sins? Do you look down on yourself, or do you look up to God for His mercy?

I reflect on them and see what led me to it. What are the trigger points...then, I acknowledge them and seek pardon from God right away and resolve to go to sacramental confession.

I am learning how to use spiritual warfare against the evil spirits assigned to me at that point, to harass me, to confuse me, to make me morose and sad. By the mighty power of Jesus name, I rebuke, I reject them and command them to go to the foot of the cross and await Jesus' action on them. I plead Jesus blood to cover all areas  as a shield, nourishment and protection and provisions.

Thank you Lord Jesus for the grace to not stay down or beaten up.

I rise up  with Joy and Peace...that only You can give.

Lord Jesus, I am a sinner. You have long saved me on the cross. Help me immerse myself in Your words to deepen my relationship with You and to bear good fruits in my life. Amen.

Cold September Morn

Come Oh Holy Spirit, please fill the hearts of thy faithful, enkindle in us the fire of thy Divine Love, send forth your Spirit Lord and it shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth.

First of all, I would like to praise and thank Our Lord Jesus Christ for this grace I have this morning to write my thoughts, glorify and proclaim Him with my words.

I have recently encountered this warning not to reveal much of my thoughts as a protection.

I plead the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ to cover me and all that is related and connected to me as a formidable shield against all the wiles and traps of the Evil one.

My Lord Jesus  with His Holy Angels and Archangels are my shield  as I put on His Armor.

Mama Mary, may your blue mantle cover my family and I, now and always.

Today's responsorial psalm is a very good weapon:

Psalm 52:10 I trust in God's mercy forever and ever.

The first part of that verse claims " I am like a green olive tree..."

And  I will thank you Lord, always for what you have done, and proclaim the goodness of your name before your faithful ones.

Last night, during our DBC or Dandelion Book Club meeting, discussing Hacksaw Ridge with Andrew Garfield as the heroic non-bearing-gun medic, Desmond Doss, in the battle of Okinawa, Japan, (April to May 1944,) we had a full 5 minute hearty laughter over the facial expression of one of the members over the visual of  an infamous individual.

It was very similar to Vince Vaughn, as Sgt Howell's getting acquainted with his troop as he said " You are a very strange looking individual, If you  dont mind me saying so..."

I am so grateful for this book and movie club.

It helps remove the rustiness of my brains a lot.

Also, I praise and thank God for the homeschooling connection and support of the two parents of these two families who actively participate each month.

May God be praised for the different journeys and seasons we all experience.

Prayers and thoughts are lifted for the victims and survivors of all senseless mass school shootings especially the latest one in the Annunciation Church, Minneapolis, Minnesota which is just a little over 7 hours drive from here last August 27.

We pray as well for the perpetrators of these senseless crimes...their families and their souls. May the perpetual light of God shine upon them as they find peace.
