Our family's path merged with these beautiful souls because of our membership in the Missionary Families of Christ, a Catholic covenanted community of lay persons committed to  the work of evangelization, renewal of families, and the defense of human life.

Sister Rochelle, or otherwise known as RC was introduced to us by another sister in the community when we picked up our first born from a bowling activity in the St. James area more than 3 years ago if I am not mistaken.

Then, each year for the past years, she and her husband Mark Guilles, headed the youth of which our youngest was slowly participating in.

Sis RC was always so positive that the  scheduled camps and various monthly activities would enrich our daughters' hearts and souls.

Our first born was transitioning from the youth section to the Singles section a year ago.

Her couple coordinator head was Edu and Yeye Barillos.

We were in a Marriage Renewal weekend with them 3 years ago.

Then last August, we got sis Yeye and sis RC to be the godparents for Lilli's Confirmation preparation which was scheduled for May 25,2026.

They both readily said " Yes" despite their busy schedules.

We have seen close range, how self sacrificing these amazing sisters are with their equally supportive husbands.

The just recently concluded MFC Canada Youth Congress in Ontario ( July 7-12,2026) and the  MFC Canada Singles Congress ( July 3-5,2026, Camp Matinou, Manitoba CA) is  the almost one year of their leadership, guidance and generosity being up close and personal.

I have nothing but high regard and respect for their efforts and unwavering commitment to ensuring that our girls would be given opportunities to actively serve.

I join them in praising our great God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, and Mary, the Mother of Our Lord Jesus for the protection and inspiration to go the extra mile. For the patience and super extra strength of sacrifice.

Early this morning at the Winnipeg airport, I could see their tiredness, but, still, there was the Joy of our Lord in their smiles and hugs.

The Holy Spirit's high sustains them and their dedication to serve the Lord through our youth.

I am so blessed and joyful for the gift of their presence in my daughter's lives.
